Description

Torta al Formaggio Umbra Bolognami, it is a salty leavened product typical of Umbria, traditionally served at Easter, today it is consumed all year round. The first information on the origins of the preparation can be found in a recipe book written by the Nuns dating back to 1848, in fact, according to tradition, it should be prepared on Good Friday, and then taken to the church to be blessed together with the other foods consumed on Easter. that is, the period of fasting and abstinence dictated by Lent is over. High and soft, with the shape reminiscent of panettone, due to the volume taken by the three leavenings, once opened it releases an inebriating and irresistible scent
