Description

Del Posto Perticaia, is a white wine made from 100% Trebbiano Spoletino grapes from the green heart of Umbria. With this wine, Perticaia has decided to offer a taste of terroir at its most expressive. In fact, the winery's aim for years now has been to enhance the terroir while respecting the environment and exalting the Umbra winemaking tradition.

Vinification
The harvest is usually carried out during the last week of October. Once in the cellar, the grapes undergo cryomaceration at 8°C for 12 hours, followed by soft pressing of the bunches to obtain the must, which undergoes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

Refinement
Maturation also takes place in stainless steel containers for about 15 months, during which no racking is carried out and the fine lees are retained. Once in bottle, it undergoes a further 6 months of refinement to finalise its expressiveness.

Tasting Notes In the glass it has an intense straw yellow colour enhanced by golden reflections. The nose is complex, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit alongside acacia flowers, chamomile and flint. In the mouth, it is intense, full and with a nice sapid vein, balanced with softness. It will evolve and surprise with intriguing hints of hydrocarbons.
Pairing Advice
Pairing It goes well with savoury cold cuts, fish soups, first courses such as Spaghetti alla Carbonara or Tagliatelle al Tartufo, white meats and grilled vegetables. Also try it with mature cheeses.
