Description
Franciacorta Brut Cuvée Royale Marchese Antinori of Tenuta Montenisa, is a classic method that was born in the heart of Franciacorta, around the Borgo di Calino. This classic method comes from the selection of Tenuta Montenisa's Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc grapes, for a cuvée of unprecedented and precious harmony, with great expressiveness and elegance.
Vinification
Small crates were used for the harvest to avoid breaking the grapes and the danger of fermentation starting. On arrival at the winery, the grapes were directly subjected to a soft pressing, using modern pneumatic presses. The 'flower' must, obtained from the first pressing, was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature.
Refinement
Subsequently, the second fermentation process in the bottle began, the base wines are blended to perform the frothing and the second fermentation, which takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with a rest on the lees for at least 36 months before disgorging. After that, the bottles rest for a further 3 months before being sent for consumption.

The nose impresses with pleasant notes of white-fleshed peach well in harmony with aromas of bread crust and yeast. On the palate it is balanced and brings out the liveliness typical of Brut. |
