Description

Handmade Panforte of Siena Bolognami, is handmade without colouring agents or preservatives, it is a very old Christmas cake, which today can be enjoyed all year round, the first written evidence of which dates back to around the year one thousand, it is a speciality of Siena and its province, in honour of Queen Margherita of Savoy in 1879 the current version with icing sugar was created, that is why it is also called Panforte Margherita, its ingredients, dosed in the right way, have remained unchanged over time, and give it its unique and unmistakable aroma and taste
