Description

Aska Bolgheri Rosso Banfi, was born in vineyards located between the beaches of the northern Maremma and the hills surrounding Castello Carducci. For Cantina Banfi, this wine is an example of how two international red grape varieties find their expression in one of the most fruitful and well-located habitats

Vinification
The berries, carefully selected during the harvest phase to ensure only the best from the grapes, ferment for about 12-14 days in steel vats at a controlled temperature, carrying out malolactic fermentation completely

Refinement
Maturation takes place over approximately 10 months in 225l and 350l French oak barriques, where bottling takes place at the end.

Tasting Notes It presents itself in the glass with a ruby red colour and slightly violet hues. Intense and complex aroma, characterised by hints of blueberry and fruit jam followed by notes of tobacco and cocoa. In the mouth it is soft, with sweet and elegant tannins. A long and persistent finish in the mouth.
Pairing Advice
Pairing It goes perfectly with game dishes and selections of mature cheeses and cured meats. Excellent as a wine to accompany a succulent dish
