Bolognami Long Black Pepper, is a spice that is obtained from a plant of the Piperaceae family, cultivated for its fruits, which are dried and used as a condiment. It is not widely used in Europe, considering the widespread use of black pepper and chilli, but it is a pepper with a long and fascinating history. Long pepper has a very particular scent and aroma, sweet, warm, pungent, with initial hints of almost vanilla that contrast with the strong spiciness that emanates immediately afterwards.
