Description

Grappa di Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Montemercurio, was created to find a meeting point between traditional Tuscan grappa and the great international distillates. It is produced from the marc of Vino Nobile, after a light pressing, is distilled in a bain-marie. The resulting distillate is left to age for 10/12 months in small kegs where Vin Santo has previously aged for 25 years. Afterwards, the grappa is bottled without filtering and put on the market after at least 3 months of bottle ageing.

Tasting Notes In the glass it is amber yellow in colour with orange highlights. The nose is complex and enveloping with hints of ripe fruit, honey, tobacco and cocoa. In the mouth it is very persistent with a sweet finish, supported by soft and velvety alcohol.
