Description

Orbaio Cantina del Redi, is produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, the vineyards are at approx. 350/400 m above sea level with a spurred cordon training system with a planting density of 4000/5000 plants per hectare.

Vinification
Once the grapes arrive in the winery, they are destemmed, softly pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature with 15 days' maceration on the skins.

Refinement
Maturation takes place in wood for about 12 months, followed by 6 months of bottle ageing.

Tasting Notes In the glass it has a bright red colour with slight garnet hues. The nose is full, soft and persistent, reminiscent of berries and has pleasant hints of vanilla and liquorice. In the mouth it is dry, velvety, harmonious and sapid. Opulent in transmitting the warm sensations of its components.
Pairing Advice
