Distillate or Brandy is obtained from the distillation of a fermented sugary liquid of vegetable origin. They are produced either directly by distillation or maceration with the addition of aromas, or by mixing a beverage with another beverage, with ethyl alcohol of vegetable origin or with certain distillates. In addition to spirits, the distilled drinks category also includes liqueurs, which are mixtures of alcohol or other distillates with water, sugar and different aromatic substances, as well as bitters. The best raw materials and most used for the production of spirits are: wine, pomace, grape must, cider, sugar cane, cereals, roots and starchy or sugary tubers, numerous fruits from which the corresponding spirits are distilled
