Cantina Terre de La Custodia, for centuries our family has been collecting the fruits of the Umbrian territory and, with wisdom and passion, transforms them into good wine. A story made of tradition, which comes from a land capable of expressing its simple nature from the very first sip. From lovingly cared for vineyards and a traditional cellar, but equipped with the most modern technologies, the Terre De La Custodia wine is born. The generosity of the land meets a historical wisdom to give rise to an experience that is good to drink, but above all to share. Umbria is a land of strong and decisive flavors. Its incomparable perfumes are born from a tradition that originates in the Middle Ages. It was the Franciscan friars who planted the first vines of Sagrantino and Grechetto. Inside the cloisters of their convents, the monks have handed down the secrets of the art of wine over the years. The wines were kept in a rigorous way, to preserve their quality and genuineness as much as possible. The confidentiality was such as to nickname the vineyards La Custodia. Even today we keep these secrets to create wines with a precious and ancient taste
