Caseificio Maremma
The Caseificio Maremma is located in the center of the Tuscan coast in Follonica, in the heart of that oasis of aromas and flavors that distinguishes the Maremma. Since the mid-1960s they have focused their dairy production on the typical and world-renowned cheeses of our area, establishing themselves as a high quality production company. The work philosophy is based on a happy alchemy between a stainless culture and passion for this sector and a precise and concrete approach to the market, a passion that has made them ambassadors of the taste and tradition of Pecorino Toscano DOP, organic, and with Vegetable rennet. The factory covers an area of approximately 4,000 m2. Particular attention was paid to the maturing phase of the products, which made it necessary to create a suitable environment far from the production site in Castel del Piano, on Mount Amiata, where the cheese matures naturally in the mountains at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level, to create that perfect balance of flavors typical of production
