Description

Papacello di Trevisan is a red Vermouth made from Syrah grapes. The name of this Vermouth is inspired by Tommaso d'Arcangelo Bernabei, known as IL PAPACELLO, was a painter born in Cortona in 1505. His numerous works include the Madonna and Child with Saints of 1527, a fresco preserved in the Abbey of Farneta, near the estate's vineyard.

Procedure
In a large stainless steel tank, bitter oranges, wild cherries, vanilla, elderflower and cardamom are infused with Syrah wine. Then sugar and alcohol are added.

Tasting Notes A bright, shining red colour. It pervades the nose with spicy sensations followed by citrus notes, combined with aromas of wood, vanilla, black cherry and balsamic whiffs at the close. The taste is round, soft, perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter notes. It ends with an intriguing aftertaste, to say the least, with hints of bitter orange and vanilla. Fun and refreshing, without ever neglecting the starting varietal.
Pairing Advice
Pairing Excellent served with ice and a slice of orange, or with a slice of lemon. Drink alone and mixed for any cocktails you wish.
