Description

Rosso di Montepulciano Organic D.O.C Vecchia Cantina, is produced with predominantly Sangiovese grapes, the vineyards are at approx. 250/450 m a.s.l. with guyot and spurred cordon training system on new plantings with a planting density of 3500/5000 plants per hectare. Here we can find a medium hilly terrain with soils formed by the crumbling of mother rock, with a good presence of skeleton.

Vinification
Once the grapes arrive in the winery, they are destemmed, softly pressed and sent to temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats for 10 days.

Refinement
Maturation takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 3 months before bottling.
