Eurochocolate returns to Perugia with a spring edition at the Giardini del Frontone, from 25 March to 3 April.
"A Passo d'Uovo" is the claim of the new format whose programme was illustrated at a press conference, also attended by the president of the Umbria Region, Donatella Tesei, together with the president of Eurochocolate, Eugenio Guarducci. The speakers were framed by a maxi panel depicting a repertory image of the city of Kiev with its traditional display of large painted eggs at Easter; a custom that inspired both the creation of the exhibition "We Love Peace", which can be visited during the event, and the activity "AbacadAba/1,2,3...Stella", carried out in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts "Pietro Vannucci" of Perugia, which was entrusted with the artistic decoration of 15 maxi eggs.
Lots of good chocolate and themed activities are preparing to welcome the event's faithful: from the inevitable Chocolate Show with over 40 exhibitors of the best chocolate products to the rich calendar of tastings, cooking shows and workshops. There will be eight "Choco Funny" areas dedicated to children and their parents, for entertainment that combines play and education.
The Umbria Region is also back in the spotlight at Eurochocolate with "Andiamo al Nocciòlo" (Let's go to the hazelnut), to promote a product that is strongly linked to the world of chocolate and which in recent years has begun to play an interesting role in the Umbrian agri-food production chain: the hazelnut. In addition, having kept its promise to return to the historic centre of Perugia after two years of forced absence due to Covid, Eurochocolate has already presented one of the flagship initiatives of the new edition: the "Caccia al Tesovo" ("Tesovo Hunt"), which involves the identification of five itineraries to discover the five historic districts of the city. Guided tours of Perugia's museums are also planned for Saturday and Sunday.
